To enter Italy, you must have an EU digital or paper certificate. The vaccination certificate is valid for 9 months after the second or booster dose of the vaccine. The certificate of recovery is valid for 6 months for those who have recovered from COVID and have not received the last dose of the vaccine. A negative PCR test is valid for 72 hours and a BAT test for 48 hours.
In case you do not have the specified documentation, you can enter Italy with the obligation of 5 days of quarantine. After the quarantine expires, you will need to do a PCR or BAT test.
Children under the age of 6 are exempt from the testing obligation. Minors (aged 6 to 18) traveling with parents who do not fall under this obligation are also exempt from the quarantine obligation, but must present proof of a smear test with a negative result.
