Article 1 – General provisions
This document establishes the rules and conditions of participation in the creative contest (hereinafter: CREATIVE CONTEST) organized by SUNCE HOTELI d.d., Radnička cesta 43, 10 000 Zagreb, OIB: 06916431329 (hereinafter: ORGANIZER). The purpose of the contest is to promote the offer and brand of Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, especially the Bluesun Rewards Loyalty program.
This season we are awarding as many as 3 of the most creative contestants with a free 5-night summer vacation for two people at Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa in Bol on the island of Brač next to the most famous Croatian beach – Zlatni Rat. Each award includes a rich breakfast and dinner. The contest lasts from 3 June - 30 September 2024. In total, there are three rounds and in each of those rounds you can win one summer vacation, which is also indicated in the post about the prize contest published on the official Facebook and Instagram page of the Organizer.
Article 2 – The course of the creative contest and terms and conditions of participation
Adults who are users of the social networks Facebook and Instagram and who agree to the rules of the creative contest can participate in the creative contest. To participate in the creative contest, participants must meet the terms and conditions stated in this article. First, participants must register for free as our Loyalty member here, then the contest is organized in three rounds.
How to win?
Share your best captured photo moments, videos or reels, which will make us want to be there at that very moment. Maybe it will be a photo next to the Brela Stone, maybe a surfing video at Zlatni Rat or reels of you cycling along the longest beach in Tučepi – it’s up to you.
Facebook: post your best photo, video or reels from your summer vacation in the comments below the post and describe why this was your favorite vacation. Every round had a separate post under which you can post your photo, video or reels.
Instagram: Share your most creative photo, video or reels from your summer vacation as a feed post on your public Instagram profile and tag us with @bluesun_hotels. Write a short caption about your vacation memories and add the hashtag #winbluesunvacation
Story formats are not eligible for this contest.
We'll pick the top 5 photos, videos or reels at the end of each round, and then you'll vote for your favorite on a new Facebook post. The one with the highest social engagement wins a holiday in 2025. Multiple applications per participant are considered.
Article 3 – Prize
In each of the three rounds, you can win one summer vacation, which includes a 5-night vacation with breakfast and dinner included for 2 people in 2025, at Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa in Bol on the island of Brač. The prize can be used from the opening of the chosen Hotel until 30 July 2025. It is not possible to exchange the prize, receive the monetary equivalent value of the prize won, or transfer it to a third party. Dates of stay depend on availability. The prize winner does not have the right to participate in other rounds of the contest; they can only win one prize during the contest. And all other participants, who have not yet won, can apply again in the next round.
Article 4 – Selection, announcement and notification of winners
The Contest Organizer will announce the winner of each round separately, i.e. the winner of the first round will be announced on 12 July 2024, the winner of the second round on 22 August 2024, and of the third round on 30 September 2024 on the official Facebook and Instagram page with their winning photo, video or reels. The winner is obliged to send their personal data to the Organizer by sending an e-mail to [email protected] within 7 days from the announcement of the winner. If they fail to do so, the Organizer will send them a notice in writing and leave an additional period of 3 days for the delivery of personal data. In the event that the winner does not submit personal data to the Organizer within the specified period, they lose the right to the prize, in which case the Organizer has the right to choose a new winner. In the event that the submitted personal data of the winner is not complete, the Organizer may refuse to award the prize as well as choose a new winner.
Personal data that must be submitted:
- first and last name and e-mail address
Article 5 – Collection of the award
After submitting the data, the winner will receive information on how to collect and use the prize.
Article 6 – Data security
The participants of the creative contest authorize the Organizer to process the personal data of the Contest participants until the participants are revoked, for the purpose of informing about the creative contest and for the marketing purposes of the Organizer of the creative contest. The Organizer undertakes not to send personal data to third parties, except for partners who directly participate in the prize fund and who need personal data in order to use the prize.
Article 7 – Responsibility and right of use
The Organizer assumes no responsibility for:
- all consequences resulting from the incorrect use or abuse of the terms and conditions of the contest by the participants of the creative contest or third parties,
- unwanted consequences suffered by the participants due to participation in the contest,
- (non)functioning of the Instagram social network and the consequences of
(non)functioning, regardless of the reasons for (non)functioning,
- (in)accuracy of data sent by contest participants.
The Organizer undertakes to process and store data in accordance with applicable regulations and laws. The participant guarantees that the persons on the photos, videos and reels have given their consent for their personal data contained in the reels to be shared with the Organizer, as well as consent for the Organizer to use the published material for the purpose of further marketing activities without the obligation to indicate the original author of the post.
By registering for the creative Contest, each participant transfers to the Organizer the right to use personal data contained in the photos, videos or reels without time or territorial limitations. Use includes the rights to publish and distribute the published photos, videos and reels for promotional purposes through any advertising channel chosen by the Organizer.
By applying for the creative contest, the participant guarantees that they are the author of the sent photos, videos and reels irrevocably and exclusively transfers to the Organizer all their copyrights on the sent materials, in a way that they transfer all copyrights, without time and territorial limitations. The participant expressly authorizes the Organizer to use the submitted materials for promotional purposes through any advertising channel chosen by the Organizer, especially through all electronic media, social networks and all media that will be used for promotional purposes in the future.
By participating, each participant is considered to have confirmed that they are familiar with these contest rules and terms and conditions of participation in the contest.
Employees of the Organizer’s company, employees of companies that in any way participate in the contest or are in any way connected with the Organizer’s business operations, as well as their immediate family members, cannot participate in the contest.
The Organizer reserves the right to remove submitted photos, videos and reels with inappropriate or offensive content and to disqualify participants who do not comply with the provisions of these Rules. If the disqualification includes the winning photo, video or reels, the prize is won by the next contestant whose photo, video or reels is declared second best.
Article 8 – Final provisions
Participants of the creative contest waive the right to any complaints to the Organizer in connection with participation in the creative contest (e.g., regarding the costs of participation, disallowing participation in the creative contest in accordance with the terms and conditions of participation). For the purpose of providing information during the contest, the participant allows the use of various communication channels, such as telephone, e-mail, notifications on the Instagram profile, etc. All complaints and claims of the participant are handled by the Organizer. In the event that the complaints are well-founded, the Organizer undertakes to resolve them as soon as possible and inform the contest participant. In the event of a dispute, the Municipal Court in Zagreb is competent. The Organizer reserves the right to change the rules and conditions of participation in the creative contest. The Organizer will inform the participants about all changes and news via the official websites. The Organizer has the right to terminate the creative contest at any time.
Facebook and Instagram do not sponsor, promote or administer the contest in any way and are in no way responsible for the organization and implementation of the contest and have no responsibility in case of any disputes.
