Bol, Brač Island
Bol is the largest town on the southern coast of Brač Island and is best known as the home of the iconic Zlatni Rat beach. As well as being a popular summer destination for sun and sea lovers, it attracts many visitors interested in tennis, windsurfing and cycling.
Among the local highlights is the fascinating Blaca Hermitage, a historic monastic complex set beneath steep cliffs. Rising above Bol is Vidova Gora, the highest peak on the Adriatic islands, offering spectacular views of Zlatni Rat and the island of Hvar. The Dominican Monastery, with its valuable museum collection, is also well worth a visit.
Bol can be reached directly by catamaran from Split. If you are travelling by car, ferries operate on the Split–Supetar and Makarska–Sumartin routes, followed by a drive to Bol.

Zlatni Rat
An iconic beach west of Bol, just a 10-minute walk from the Bluesun hotels. Made of fine pebbles, Zlatni Rat changes shape under the influence of the wind and sea, while the water shimmers in every shade of blue. A scenic promenade connects the beach with the centre of Bol, 2 km away. It is also a favourite spot for windsurfers.
Potočine
A beach at the foot of Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa, overlooking Zlatni Rat, popular for its wide range of facilities, natural shade, sheltered spots and proximity to the seaside promenade.
Borak
Located on the seafront beside the Bluesun hotel of the same name, this beach is ideal for water sports enthusiasts. Swimmers also love it for its natural shade and good range of facilities.
Kotlina
Crystal-clear sea, natural shade and a gentle entry into the water make this beach ideal for families with children. Its beautiful view of the Dominican Monastery makes it even more special.
Martinica
Located on the eastern side of Bol, opposite Kotlina across the Dominican Monastery, Martinica is loved for its turquoise sea, unique setting overlooking the monastery and proximity to the town centre.

Location
Bol is located in the south of the island of Brač and is connected to Split by ferry (ferry lines Split-Supetar and Makarska-Sumartin), so the island can be easily reached by car or bus. Split Airport is close to Bol, and so is Brač Airport. Bluesun offers its guests transfers from any airport to Bol and speedboat transfer on the route Split-Bol.
