Brela, Makarska Riviera
Brela is located on the Makarska Riviera, between the Adriatic Sea and Biokovo mountain. It is known for its beaches and coves, which stretch along the entire coastline.
The best known is Punta Rata, which Lonely Planet has ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world. It features fine pebbles, spectacular views of Biokovo and deep shade from pine trees, while at its western end stands the legendary Brela Stone, a symbol of the destination.
A 7-kilometre seaside promenade runs through the entire resort.
