Krka National Park is one of the most famous national parks in Croatia, located along the Krka River in central Dalmatia. The park is known for its travertine waterfalls, crystal-clear water, and rich natural heritage. Within the park, there are seven impressive waterfalls, the most famous being Skradinski Buk – the largest and most visited waterfall on the Krka River.
In addition to its natural beauty, the park also has significant cultural and historical value. Visitors can explore old watermills, traditional stone houses, and historical sites that reflect centuries of life along the river. One of the park’s most recognizable landmarks is the small island of Visovac, home to a monastery situated in the middle of the lake.
